Game Servers

Cheating

Cheating will not be tolerated in any Best Gaming Network server. If a player is caught cheating, s/he will receive a permanent ban from All Best GN servers, no questions asked.


Server Behavior

Inappropriate behavior within Best GN servers may attract a temporary or permanent ban.

Some inappropriate behaviors include but are not limited to:

- Excessive swearing
- Abuse/Harassing of other members
- Racism
- Inappropriate in-game nicknames
- Text and verbal spamming
- Intentional team-killing
- Advertising
- Impersonating game admins or Best Telecom staff
- Failing to comply with admin instructions
- Mic spamming


Banning Procedures:

24 hour ban

- Excessive swearing
- Abuse/harassment of other players
- Mic spamming
- Failing to listen to an admin’s instructions

48 hour ban

- Second offence after a previous 24 hour ban/being caught in more than one server
- Impersonating other players
- Mic spamming
- Abuse of staff/admin

Month ban

- Repeated offences

Permanent ban

- Repeated offences
- Cheating

Ban appeals

All ban appeals should be submitted using the Ban Appeals Forum. You must register with the forums to submit an appeal.

The appeal should include as much information about the ban as possible to quicken the appeal process.

Information such as:

- Nickname
- Contact email address
- Time and Date of when the ban was initiated
- Full server name of which the ban was initiated; Game name as well as server number
- Any screenshots which may be relevant to your ban
- Any other information which you think may be relevant to your appeal.

Admins have the right to ban players for a period of 24 hours if they feel a player may be cheating or causing an offense.
If no judgment can be made with the evidence at hand that player will be unbanned no later than when the 24 hour period began.


Voice Servers – TeamSpeak

Teamspeak Acceptable User Policy: User (Registered)

We appreciate the fact you have chosen to use our Teamspeak Communication Server, although, there are some guidelines we expect users to follow in order to maintain a clean and peaceful environment. The guidelines are as follows:

- Users are to act with maturity in Public Channels
- Users should not swear in public channels unless the description has a language warning.
- If a Server Administrator asks you to do something (or stop doing it) then please, abide by their request.
- Users will be banned if they come in under an admins name
- Users will be time banned for flooding the teamspeak server

Channel Administrator (Registered Channel Administrator)

Channel Administrators, you also have a set of guidelines you must follow in order to maintain the peace, because you have power doesnt give you the right to abuse it.

- Channel Administrators have the right to remove players from their channel, as long as their reason is just.
- Channel Administrators will not kick players from channel for fun.
- Channel Administrators will provide a decent reason when kicking a player.
- 'Senior Server Administrators (Or Senior Admins)' have the right to remove your rights if they see fit.

Server Administrator (Registered Server Administrator)

Server Administrators also have a set of guidelines they must follow:

- Server Admins must not enter passworded rooms, unless absolutely needed, they shall enter but immediately
announce they have entered and why they have entered to all persons in the channel.
- Server Admins must not drag players around the server for fun
- Server Admins must not give out passwords to private channels or Admin channels to users
- Server Admins must not ban or kick players unless there’s a valid reason
- Server Admins should report any activities (Suspicious, Creating channels, Banning Users, Kicking users etc) to Senior Best GN’s Administrators.

In a nutshell, Bad behavior and a potty mouth will not be tolerated in the Best GN Teamspeak Server, neither will abuse (General and power abuse).


Follow these simple guidelines and you will not be troubled by the Admins. Best GN provide the Communications server to you for free, and monitor these servers as volunteer's, so the least you can do is help us, help you. Have fun and keepit peaceful


Kickable/Bannable offences in this server include, but are not limited to:

- Childish behavior; including playing unnecessary music and/or sounds in public channels,
- Recording ANYWHERE in the server (if you require the recording feature for any reason, eg. admin meeting, please contact an SA for assistance),
- Foul language in the lobby and/or unnecessary use of foul language in public channels.
- Inappropriate nickname/s.
- Abuse of the "Whisper" feature.

Welcome to the Best GN Forum. We appreciate you taking the time to register and be apart of this community. Below are a set of rules that Users need to abide by in order to make sure this community maintains a clean reputation. These rules or "guidelines" are as follows.

We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Although, we will at all costs allow our moderators permission to help lower the risk of the public seeing anything they shouldn’t.


The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Best GN Forums. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the Admin Team. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.


You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the Best GN’s forums to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any Australian/Country law.


You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by Best Gaming Network, or unless written permission has been obtained.


We do not condone illegal activates on the board; this includes referring to bit torenting and downloading via illegal measures. Posts will be edited by Moderators if illegal references are contained in the post.

You agree not to post or advertise URL links to competing Gaming Networks unless approved by Management. Such links or posts may be removed by an Administrator of these forums.
An example would be "yourgamingnetwork.com"
Clans/Squads are permitted to post their links in the Clan Recruiting forum.

You agree not to promote and advertise for any other ISP other than BEST telecom.
Any links to this effect will be removed.


Thread locking/deleting Guidelines include but are not limited to:

- Continuous flaming and useless insults;
- Duplicate threads;
- Discussing issues of an illegal nature (as stated above).
- Complaints about Bans in the public forums will not be tolerated. All ban related inquiries MUST be emailed to [insert email]

Bannable Offences include but are not limited to:

- Ignoring staff warnings;
- Racist comments/attacks;
- Flaming/spamming in inappropriate areas;
- Porn, nudity, links to porn will not be tolerated;
- Abuse of staff in any shape or form. Staff are here under voluntary circumstances, they did not volunteer for yourabuse;
- Abuse/attacks towards other Best GN members. Personal issues will be taken else where;
- Posting for a banned member.

Sig Removal Guidelines include but are not limited to:

- One (1) sig banner & one (1) small stat sig per member;
- Porn, nudity, links to porn;
- Sigs must not exceed the maximum size of 500pixels wide, 200pixels high;
- No more than 6 lines of text.

Admins have the right to perform any of the actions as stated above.

If you have any inquiries/complaints about posts/threads which have been deleted/locked, email
[insert email] and it will be dealt with accordingly.


Server Admins

Our server admins are here to help keep your servers competitive, yet enjoyable and suitable for all ages at all times.
Please be mindful that they put their own time into helping keep Best GN servers at this standard, not to cop abuse!

All offenses are dealt with via strict procedures; if you have found that you have been banned and feel it was unnecessary and/or unfair, email [insert email] with your appeal, keeping in mind that admins have the right to ban any player for a period of 24 hours if they see fit.
